Period at school, StainED Skirt
So this is something I felt embarrassed about but not anymore.
Let me share my terrible “period” experience with you.
This happened when I was in 6th class, I happen to menstruate and end up leaving a huge stain on my skirt.
I was also naive and absolutely had no idea and reference point to it.
My heart started racing, I was contemplating like anything.
I had a mental breakdown in class with everyone staring at me making fun.
I unconsciously started hating myself, I felt ashamed. guilty. It was a downright heartbreaking ordeal for me. Fortunately, a teacher saved me and I owe her a lot.
Lessons that I learned from the foregoing incident-
• To constantly educate yourself.
• Incomplete information is dangerous ( there is nothing wrong in knowing more).
• To always seek support when needed.
• Always lead a helping hand (what goes around, comes around).
• Instead of making fun and laughing at someone, be accomodating and tolerant.
• Always be prepared (preparation is the key).
